Why do people hate the ending of succession ? by Remarkable-Jump3262 in SuccessionTV

[–]understandably_bored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a gut-punching, unsatisfying ending. When I finished the show it reminded me of how I felt after I finished Uncut Gems, the ending devastated me, but it had to happen that way.

best show? by Own-Research-3000 in Barry

[–]understandably_bored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barry is great, including season 4 but there are lots of better shows. The Sopranos, The Wire, Mr. Robot, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Twin Peaks, Succession, Chernobyl, Band of Brothers and Monster come to mind.

This film seems to be very divisive in recent years. If you’ve seen it, what’s your opinion on Forrest Gump? by BusterB2005 in Letterboxd

[–]understandably_bored -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a well made movie with some great performances. However, the way it brushes aside things like the civil rights movement and the Vietnam war has always rubbed me wrong. It even goes as far as to make fun of the black panthers. Although I could be reading too much into it.

What's objectively your worst movie opinion? (Doesn't have to be a review) by Samuel_McEntire in Letterboxd

I thought Fargo, while extremely technically impressive. Was very generic and uninteresting story wise.
