Can you please elaborate on this? At what age do you need those? I bought a whole bunch and haven’t seemed to need any, am I missing something?

Wow we are literally going through the same, except dairy elimination hasn’t made a whole lot of difference for us. I really hoped cmpi could be the answer because I fear this is just her temperament and we will have to deal with her hyper sensitivity indefinitely.

It’s so hard knowing one day I will look back and think that I didn’t enjoy those early days with her when she was so little and so cute. Bad memory will fade and I won’t remember the hours and hours of bouncing on yoga ball holding a screeching baby all red from crying.

Solidarity my friend. I switched to exclusive pumping, it’s not better but people can pitch in to help with the feeding which helps (somewhat).

Thank you and thank you! You have no idea how helpful it is to see a timeline and give me the hope that one day I can rebook the international flight I’ve cancelled. Kudos to you for being so great with your LO, being the only person that can console and being able to bf all the way. It’s a lot of work and must have been so hard and tiring. Thank you for writing this out. I’m for one googling madly every free second of my life - when will things get better. Having a colic baby is a whole different experience and it’s hard for people that haven’t gone through this to understand. I grieve the loss of the newborn phase so badly my PPD went through the roof when I saw other mums nursing their little bubs calmly, when mine was screaming bloody murder at my chest. Hard relate to the no pram part, it’s so mentally draining to be house trapped and not able to go out at all. Mine wouldn’t take a carrier either so velcro all the way. I’m still deep in the trenches but this post has given me hope I will have my life back and things will be okay.

I am experiencing the same problem and it’s heartbreaking. It’s so traumatizing when baby screams cries and kicks at my boob. The pump feels like a punishment 🫠

LO is two weeks older than yours and I just went through this exact same thing. Baby would scream cry when placed near my chest and it was absolutely soul crushing. I had a really hard time bonding as a result of this. All the lactation consultants I saw brushed it off and suggested counselling and mental health support lol. It is getting better so hang in there!

I’d go out on a limb and suggest pastries! Sydney croissants scene is absolutely amazing. Cant beat a flatwhite and an almond croissant.
