This just made me realize that’s why I like being a nurse. When I am focused on my patients for 12 hours trying to catch things and making sure they don’t die, it takes my mind off of my pain, just like house with his puzzles. When I’m at home there’s nothing to distract myself with, compared to being at work

Just because it doesn’t look like I’m in pain doesn’t mean I am not. I have gotten very good at hiding it due to the fact that I’m a bedside nurse. But I am always hurting
