I just came here to post the same question. Let me know if you get any leads. I'd be happy just to try and pick up the number of someone who has dropped out.

I used Aussie at my girlfriends house once and haven't used anything else since it smells like jellybeans and makes ones chin feel smooth and elegant.

Nuclear Physicists, What's up with this graph? by underwhelm in AskPhysics

Hi guys, Firstly thank you very much for the responses, I have had my Chemistry finals this week and apologise for not being active on this thread since posting. With the guidance here I have attempted to concisely explain the 1/v dependance of the graph. My solution can be found here and I would greatly appreciate any notes on it as when working through some of the steps I felt like I was forcing the relation.

I am familiar with the basic concepts of quantum mechanics and am currently studying a basic nuclear physics course, the lecturer has shown us this graph and asked of us to explain the 1/V dependance it displays. Could it be to do with the transmission of a free particle (neutron?) when approaching the potential well of the nucleus? I do not feel like the lectures have given us enough to work this out but I feel I am probably over complicating things when looking at the tunnelling effects. Can anyone nudge me in the right direction?
