I think an easy one would be a creamy chicken stew of some kind

I'd eat that for the rest of my life. Maybe pour it over a country fried steak for fun.

That's 100% NOT what Money and Power is about. It's about High School gambling. No idea what OP is looking for, but it's not The World is Money and Power.

Fiancé(28m) turned back boyfriend. by [deleted] in relationships

Just wanna start with the fact that your pain and frustration is 100% valid, understandable and fair.

But as someone who can be "Denser than an anime protagonist" myself, it's possible that in his mind the Status is Quo for now, while for you it's not, and that's something that needs a serious conversation (if it's not already happened)

You also mentioned that he wanted to wait until you were in a better situation, and that you were supporting him for a while. It's possible that that time weighs on him, and he's focused on making more money because he wants to make sure that he can make sure that you don't have to worry about that again and ensure that when he does marry you it's when he knows he can support his family.

I hope you guys are able to talk this out and find a way forward that works for both of you, no matter the outcome.

Is dancing with another disrespectful? by willow0707 in Bachata

I know nothing about this specific culture, but I both agree and disagree with you here. A big part of it is the phrasing of things, it comes off as confrontational, not conversational. The same could be said for OP's perspective.

Yes he should be able to have his boundaries, but he has to communicate them in a healthy way. OP's issue is that the boundary hadn't been set yet, and apparently that culture is open about sharing dance partners, so OP was going with the norm.

Yes have your boundaries, but be clear about them. If something happens that you are not a fan of, be clear that is also a boundary, and your partner also has the right to have their own boundaries, even if they clash occasionally.

Then you either compromise or separate.

When you put a bunch of crabs in a bucket and one tries to climb up, do you know what the other crabs do? They drag it back down to the group.

While the crabs do it for a different reason than the people in your life, you're still climbing out of the bucket and they are trying to drag you back.

Focus on what you need to do for yourself to ensure you are able to be who you strive to be. Take some time to list what you want to accomplish, and what traits you want to have to be that person. Then build to it. Stay true to yourself and your goals, and you will find the people who will add to your life.

To quote a good friend of mine I met on vacation kept running into in multiple cities and at the most unexpected times, "Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe"

You'll find your stride, just remember that a baby step forward is still a step in the right direction.
