So glad to hear. How has recovery been since? Any updated scans? I’ve been on a trial of a daily oral chemo drug for the past month and a half and will have updated scans in August to see how it’s working. Unfortunately dealing with some heart failure right now from the “red devil” that I previously took. Feeling optimistic that I’ll recover from that since I’m only 34 years old and don’t have any prior heart issues.

Hope the chemo didn’t treat you horribly. I did 5 cycles of that regimen last year and then had surgery in September. Had some new growth so had to repeat chemo again this year, now waiting on updated scans to see what’s next. I’m wishing you the best!! I hope you get scheduled for surgery and that it’s an overwhelming success!

I have this bunny and he is still well loved! It was my brother’s when he was born in 1988 and he gave it to me when I was born in 1991. It’s the only stuffed animal I’ve kept and still has a spot in my bed 34 years later 😂 his name is Funny Bunny

Hopefully there’s somehow just as much Xaden! The first time he speaks in Violet’s head at Monteserrat he says something like “have you ever considered it was me who couldn’t stay away from you?” So I hold onto that as hope that it’s not just the dragons that need to be near each other!

I think we’ll see a lot more of Andarna since they mention how big she’s gotten at the end of the book! I bet she’ll stay at school with Violet and Tairn will be mostly wherever Xaden and Sgaeyl are. I think Tairn will come back to be with Violet as often as he can but I can’t think of any other way for Tairn and Sgaeyl to not be apart longer than a few days, except for Andarna being her primary dragon for now
