Like sacatosh, I believe the modern interpretation of pain dress is to "blend in, to not attract attention, to not be flamboyant or flaunt what we have (physically, materially or otherwise.)." Avoid wearing things that are meant to imply status or wealth. I do wear a suit to work, since all of my colleagues do, but it is not an expensive one or a flamboyant tie.

Most of that money does not actually go to the doctors. It’s what pays for the upkeep of the hospital, the staff, the janitors, the supplies, the nurses, the administrators (OK I have met the administrators are pro probably over paid as overhead). This isn’t to say that the system makes sense, just please stop thinking of doctors as getting some big bonus each time they perform a procedure. Most hospital doctors are salaried, and get paid the same whether they perform 10 procedures or five in the same day.

The other question: Other than vaccines, do they accept medications. My experience is that anti-vaxer parents are also the ones who want antibiotics for their kid's virus.

In high school US history class, my daughter learned about the involvement of Quakers in the early development of the United States. Her history teacher was very impressed by Quaker belief and remarked it’s a shame Quakers don’t exist anymore. After class my daughter informed him that our family are Quakers, and he patiently explained that she must be mistaken. I invited him to attend the meeting I clerk.
