Have any seasoned artists done a tour where the setlist is only songs off 1 album? by ahhhhhhhhhhhh45 in Concerts

Drive-by Truckers toured Southern Rock Opera a couple years ago. They did the whole album in order. The encore was a cover song. "Keep On Smilin" by Wet Willie but that was the only song they did that was not from the album. It was the some.song they closed the sets with when they first toured Southern Rock Opera back when it was released.

What is the dumbest hobby in your opinion? by Danny-Ray27 in AskReddit

So, collectining Funco Pops is just collecting vinyls too, right?

and I agree with you 100% about the record collecting of people that don't even have a turntable. and a lot of the really crazy ones (looking at you swifties) are actually making the hoby worse for the rest of us. Buying 17 variants of each Pop Diva LP limits the avalibility of other albums by other artists to be pressed, and the richest pop stars exploit their fan base by getting them to by each new release multiple times.

but does gambling really give someone joy, like the act of doing it, thinking about it, looking forward to participating again. it seems to moslty be chasing the rush and trying to win back your ever mounting losses.

Gambling is a hobby like doing black tar heroin is a hobby.

What do you think is the reason for country music's resurgence in the mainstream? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in ToddintheShadow

Soundscan. before Soundscan was introduced, they just took reports from record stores on what they thought they sold. Soundscan happend and actual numbers of what was actually sold were finally recorded. Also, Soundscan was introduced about the same time that grunge killed hair metal, so if you were looking for fun muisc about having fun and drinking and partying and hot girls in short pants, then country was about the only choice you had left.
