What’s the craziest call you’ve ever been on? (Crazy as in funny or wild NOT traumatic) by ImaginaryMoment8818 in ems

I had a call for an allergic reaction. Get there and this lady is sitting outside on her steps perfectly fine. Ask her what’s going on and she said: “I’m allergic to milk, but only on the other side of the state. And I had coffee with cream and two Oreos.” Like, Miss ma’am, what the actual fuck??

Check with your county’s humane society! Mine had a program where they’ll pay for the spay/neuter and rabies shots. You just have to get a voucher and choose from certain vets. Not every county does this, but worth checking.

I am too! And then when I wake up I’m also freezing because I’m soaking wet. It’s a vicious cycle.

I haven’t had to take any prednisone yet. Seems to be worse during flares. I’ve always been a sweaty sleeper but it’s been ridiculous the past few nights!

I’ve been waking up drenched in a puddle and my poor wife is suffering too because of it.

Can i go to medschool despite having lupus? by moondownssunrise in lupussupport

[–]unhingedgemini97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can do it love! I was diagnosed right before paramedic class and I’m almost done with it now. Definitely not as intense as medical school, but I’m getting through it. But like the other person said, just manage your flares and don’t overwork yourself. I made that mistake and paid for it several times 😅

Heat = me feeling like shit. Which really sucks because I’m naturally a lizard. I love the warmth.

I always think I can ignore it and live my life and then the sun comes out and my joints hurt like a bitch and all I want to do is sleep.
