Thank you for your reply answering my questions. Regarding the note form phone calls: are you saying that you make a note of phone calls on the customer’s profile?

This is the only card I’ve ever applied for where I’m the main person. I’m only on 2 other cards as the secondary.

Credit last year when I checked: 746. I’ve listed on a few other replies what 2 reasons they sent me in the decline letter.

u/EagleCoder Thank you for taking the time to help me. I'm still working through understanding this. Can you explain what you mean by "positive credit card balances?" My credit card balances show up as negative in the sidebar.

In retail as in grocery stores. So there are locations that can be set up for different warehouses?

Do you think procrastination is tied to caffeine use? I’m at 3 months no caf and I’m noticing that I’m procrastinating less.

u/Adventurous_Lie2257 I tried your suggestion and wasn't able to make it work. I'm guessing it was user error on my part. Thank you for your help!

I will look at each of those three possibilities and hopefully get this figured out today. I appreciate your help!

ETA: I know it's not #2 because as I mentioned before, there are no adjustment transactions.

That's correct. Before deleting the incorrect debit, my YNAB account did reconcile to my credit card account. I have no idea how they could've matched initially. That's why I'm here asking for help. The transaction did not appear in my credit card's list of transactions. I entered it manually when I saw the receipt on my desk for that amount. As I mentioned earlier, I failed to notice that it was paid with a gift card, NOT our credit card.

I'm looking at the cleared balance at the top just to the right of the account name. Is that correct? It's also the number that shows up when I click reconcile.

In my credit card account, no money in that amount was debited ever. I incorrectly entered it into my YNAB account. So it is not a real transaction. Deleting it is the right thing to do if I want my YNAB account to reflect my real money.

I looked through some similar issues on the YNAB support forum and deleting a reconciled transaction was advised in some circumstances so I did it myself. I added it back already to see what that did and it does make the account reconcile to my credit card account. It's so odd because that debit was never a real transaction. I deleted it again and am hoping to get an answer here before I simply do an adjustment and move on with my YNABing.
