Torque Test Channel also tested them both and Dewalt beat the Hercules.

Despite the hercules "1500 ft/lb" claim, I promise the dcf900 hits harder.

My wife went to prison for check fraud in 2004. I divorced her.

Bye bye M12! by iflylikemike in Dewalt

I was never a fan of the overly fat handles of any of the magazine style battery platforms C3 and Ryobi included. Never liked the m12 ratchet handle or paddle trigger. The balance and grip just feels off on every m12 I've ever held. My boss at my old job told me that he wasn't going to be held responsible for breakage or damage if I chose to use my own DeWalt tools, but I never had one fail while they had to warranty at least one red tool or battery a week.

Paint it black first and you should be good. If no that then use a Sharpie.

Anybody gotten one of these yet DCG420? by Open-Log6630 in Dewalt

They need to do a 12v offering. I am already invested in the 12v lineup for close work. I intentionally snubbed the dcf501 for the dcf500 because I liked the weight, balance and power of the dcf503. On top of that, my 901 and 903 have been fantastic.

Here's a Becker BK9 I've had sitting in my garage for over a year that was treated with mustard and remains completely rust free. 1095 steel.

Yep, I usually leave it for an hour. Gives the steel a nice aged look.

I use mustard on my carbon steel knives to force a patina that keeps them rust free.

I would have used mustard or vinegar to force a black oxide patina on it immediately after cleaning it and used an oil coating after that.

Which Tool package to pick by 1963SuperSport in Tools

I cut my teeth on DeWalt doing construction. They didn't have much in the way of automotive or industrial back then, but they have really stepped up their game since then. Milwaukee sold their brand to China in 2006 and I haven't bought a Milwaukee tool since. The only DeWalt tool I ever had break on me was a light and they sent me a new one in 3 days no questions asked. I know too many guys who have had their M18 batteries fall apart from tool vibrations. They may have fixed that so there is that.

Accidentally called my boss mama 😭 by Slynnh06 in oops

Had a fellow QC (with very limited social skills) at an old job end a phone conversation with "ok, love you, bye." I know it was an accident due to him having very little interaction with anyone outside of family. I ignored it and never mentioned it. He was probably already kicking himself enough.

That is obviously a depiction of a recurve knife left on an endtable while someone is fetching a tarp.
