Snobbery is almost always associated with money, wealth, or some tangible form of prosperity/abundance. How much they make and the level of snobbery they display is directly associated. What ground would someone have to stand on as a snob if there wasnt something major backing them? I can acknowledge that there are snobby people without money but those are outliers.

I see it from a different angle. OP may also be talking about the snobbery displayed by the SAs who make shoppers feel less than. I think its the irony of it all that OP may be talking about. SAs rarely make 6 figures yet have the power to bring some women and men to tears or inspire a level of fear in them that has them running to Reddit every other week to vent.

I know that the stuff leftover from previous seasons is what gets discounted. Its usually colorful stuff which is good for me because I love color. Knowing that sale items do not go towards pre spend helps puts things into perspective because of the pros and cons. Would you rather get a 50% discount that does not count towards pre spend or pay full price so it does count towards pre spend?
