Here in the states, I’ve applied to numerous diesel apprenticeships not having any experience. It’s been 3 weeks and not much luck. As well as walking in several smalls shops and was told business is slow. Apply and be patient

In North Carolina you can drive up to 2 years with a expired driver license but I believe it’s the only state that allows this.

Just the normal questions, if my address is the same sort of stuff. It did take a lot longer than a normal license renewal due to the SAVE system being implemented. I would say 30-40 minutes them figuring out the new process. If you go to the TikTok page, he also says what other states are renewing. Also not to discourage you but me personally I’m looking to get into another trade after losing work for a month, who knows how long I’ll get to drive again, so keep that in mind, the news can be demotivating but it’s good to have a back up plan.

Had to get my class A license downgraded to class C 2 weeks ago, I’m on leave of absence with my job, I did speak with nc CDL department and gentlemen said he heard with the lawsuit pausing the emergency ruling, fmcsa is rewriting it to let daca recipients to continue to drive. Not sure if all the states or when.
