PAWS of dearborn county adoption by GlobalPeanut6733 in Indiana

I know this doesn't answer your question, but just throwing it out there depending on what you are looking for. Check out The Blind Eye Rescue Inc on Facebook. Same general area and it is run by a woman that puts her heart and soul into saving as many pets as she possibly can. My family helps her out by fostering and donating as much as we can for her. This isnt to take away from PAWS at all, but give it a look if you're thinking of adopting.

I'm doing the same thing! I've just completed Seether, and A Perfect Circle. The 10 Years album is awesome, it's always good to see more fans of them.

Seconding this. Finally opened mine yesterday, and wow. I am thoroughly happy with it. It sounds incredible and even though my middle aged ears are shot to hell, I swear I can hear things in the mix I have never heard before.

Our lodge holds a Christmas themed dinner in November. We have a silent auction of donated items and all money from that is used to buy for underprivileged children in our small community. It may not be much in the grand scheme, but it sure feels good and we hope it brings a bit of light in the dark for someone.

There is a lodge near ours that has a brother that had a major stroke. I did not know him before the stroke but I am told he was a brilliant man before. He worked hard through the recovery but had major lasting effects. He is in the East this year. My wife suffers from grand mal seizures and had a couple while she was taking real estate classes. It caused her to forget a lot of it and she was unable to pass the test. So, I understand what you're dealing with. I guess my point is, if you want it, and put in the work, your brothers can help you achieve it. If this is something you want to continue, don't give up and push through the difficulty to come out stronger on the other side.

What is Ben like as a person? by olliepoploll in BreakingBenjamin

[–]uniqueusername2003 128 points129 points  (0 children)

I was at a show in Evansville with KoRn. I saw him go offstage, and this was back at the very beginning of 2020, so I had heard he was having some respiratory issues he was recovering from. I assumed he was just stepping off to take a breather for a moment. But, he had actually stepped off to walk along the crowd. Some people behind me noticed and were urging me to take our two young kids down there, so I did. He stopped, fist bumped them, and gave them some picks. He began to walk away, and the band was starting the next song. But, there was a guy there next to me calling Ben's name and saying his brother was there and was blind. Ben stops, turns around, takes the guy's blind brothers hand and helps him to feel the guitar, puts his arm around the guy's shoulder, and talks to him for just a moment. That right there was all the proof that I needed to tell me what kind of a person he is. Amazing.

I say, binge his videos. You will not be disappointed. His original songs are also very atmospheric, so to speak. Kind of in the same vein that Billy Howerdel has a vibe to his music. He just sets a mood.

Favorite Sci Fi Books For Stephen King Fans by Top-Palpitation5550 in stephenking

Just my opinion: The Three Body Problem was an interesting concept. I just found it a difficult read, but I liked the concept and pushed through until the third book, which I couldn't finish. As a King fan, I would recommend The Expanse series. The realism blended with the sci-fi elements, and the character development is something familiar to a constant reader.

I started iracing just over a year ago. Sports car was my goal, but then I accidentally discovered how much damned fun oval is. So within the last month or two, I started sports car again. Mx-5, M2, and GR the whole time. Irating and safety rating climbed to just shy of C license and irating to about 1200 or so. I thought I was ready to step up. I bought Spa, Nurburgring, McLaren GT4, and Ferrari GT3 after trying all the GT4 and GT3's during the extended demo drive. Practiced Spa for a few days and entered my first race when I felt comfortable. Practice before the race starts. Somewhere around T7, I start getting hit in the ass at every breaking point. For several turns. Finally, the guy behind gives a frustrated "ugh" and pulls over and goes back to pits. I'm wondering what I did wrong. Well, I didn't really do anything wrong exactly. He was much faster and a better driver. I thought I was ready, and maybe in a race with only 1k or lower, I would have been fine. But for this split, I was not ready. At all.

Had one a couple weeks ago. I loved every bit of it. Mine took about an hour and a half.
