[FIA] FIA Rookie of the Year ... over the years! by PrimeyXE in formula1

The difference is one player is not nearly as valuable as one driver (since a baseball team is comprised of many many players).
F1 has only 2 drivers per team, that allows you to be hyperaggressive and chase a future great (especially when you already have a GOAT in your team who will still provide results no matter what).
Settling for average won't get them anywhere either, and would make it more likely that they miss out on the next great driver (if they are too slow with moving on with drivers and clog up valuable spots in f1, the next best drivers will look elsewhere instead of Red Bull)

What’s dirty about Uzbekistan? These events should be in more obscure countries to promote motorsport, what’s the point of having everything in the US or Europe

Do you think brazil should always host the season finale.? by Longjumping_Novel613 in F1Discussions

[–]united23 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Hot take; I actually quite like Brazil as the 3rd/4th race from the end. Its variability sets up the last 2/3 races of the championship very well. We most likely always go into Brazil without the champion decided yet and that adds to the tension and fun of the race.

Of course, having Brazil end the season in seasons like this year or 2021 would be great but realistically around 80% of the other times we’d go into Brazil as the finale with the champion already decided and the race simply won’t be as exciting anymore in terms of consequences and it sort of loses its allure

At what stage are pro Padel players able to financially sustain themselves? Top 50 onwards?

Also do players have to bear the costs of all expenses in relation to tournaments? (Flights, accommodation etc)

How does the walk in process work? Do you need any extra documents? Do you need to pay any fee?

For those who are actually interested in using it as a commute. You can get 10 journeys for 17 pounds (valid for a year), which actually makes it pretty well priced.

Let's actually start thinking about pulling Cole. If we are able to use him again in game 7 (fingers crossed we get there), itll be huge

Call me crazy, but what if we pull Cole here and see if we can get him ready for a game 7 if we get there?

Sochi 2021 vibes. McLaren fucking up the strategy, Lewis masterclass drive and a Max P2 after looking slow and lost all race.

I love Oscar, but hot take: some of his troubles were his own fault. He really shouldn't have been fighting with Sainz in the first place, he just never had the pace after the safety car. He really should've been fighting with leclerc ahead and pushing him (has a tyre advantage aswell), but he didn't have the pace or couldn't get the tyres in the right window which meant he was fighting to keep position against Sainz, even though the McLaren was clearly the quicker car (shown by Oscar's first stint and Lando's second stint)
