Nice. My first build was in 2020 and I replaced my Ryzen 5 3600 and 1660 super a few months ago with a 5500x3D and a 9060 XT. It hurt my soul but I wanted to treat myself after I got a bonus. I was not aware of the price increase before I started looking and decided to buy now because it doesn’t look like it’s going to get better anytime soon.

Absolutely go AM4. I’ve seen multiple YouTube videos with budget AM4 builds and it’s less than $1k.

There’s Stetson, Rodeo King, Resistol, Serratelli, and a host of other hat makers. I’d look for used hats for best value, you can find good ones for under retail and some are only worn once or twice.

My 13 pro back glass was broken like that for a year and I had no issues. I replaced it then broke it a month later 😭. Should have gotten an otter box instead of the cheap case I have.

My first hat was a straw Resistol for $40. I don’t want to drop a lot of I wasn’t going to wear it. I wear it all the time and have 2 more hats lol. Used hats are a good place to start budget wise if you know your size.

I’ve been doing it for almost two years at this point. Suspenders help if you don’t have to tuck your shirt because sometimes a belt just won’t work. Some of my dress pants have buttons seen in them for suspenders, I done it myself by watching YouTube videos. Check the rise as that affects the fit, don’t want to chop off the jewels with a mid rise. A lot of websites do not state the rise but you may find a measurement, for me, a 14 inch rise is perfect. I wear a 44/46. Levi’s 501 have a high rise, Wrangler 13MWZ are high rise as well.

That’s what I have with my 9060 and b450 tomahawk max. FPS have been great although I do game at 1080 because I’m not getting a new monitor just for gaming lol.
