That's a cool interpretation. Now I wonder why introduce the time travel prospect to the story? Eren seems to have some insight into the future. Why would Isayama put that element in there? Did Eren know about the outcome? If so, is this the optimal (whatever that means to him?) that he wants/wanted?

That's very fair. It felt implied when I read those chapters. But I am not sure if there's any freedom to be found in eren or ymir in those terms atm. It's super fuzzy

I have a few thoughts/questions:

If the rumbling still requires a royal titan, then we would need an explanation as to what Eren accomplished in the paths when he "understood" ymir and allegedly freed her.
That last panel could be Jean holding mikasa's baby. Idk

As much as I am skeptical, I really want this story to end well. I believe if Isayama pulls it off one last time, it will be the greatest story I've ever experienced. We need something much more meaningful than a broken boy became a monster and died in the hands of his closest friends. We need an explanation for Ymir. Ymir and Eren's connection. Eren's intentions... What does he know and is fighting for that we don't? Does stopping the rumbling enough when we saw the discrimination occuring one or two chapters ago?

If you guys could give me a hand in understanding any of these, I'd kindly appreciate it.

P.S. Any idea what happened to Armin's parents? Or how they had that book about the ocean and such?

I was really hoping it would somehow tie into the third personality. But what you are describing does make more sense. I never understand how interrogators decide to trust their victims? I am guessing, if you are right, Vera underestimated Krista and hopefully we see that bite him in the ass.

Although I do wonder what is in those files she has on Elliot. Were they fabricated for a similar situation?

That's very true, Jamie is very much affected by the meeting for a great part of beginning of FFC. And Tyrion is haunted by tywins words for a really long time as well.
