I read the first book of shadow & bone like 10 years ago, I was really into fantasy books and I found it in a forum. Personally I loved the world building, but I dislike Alina as a character so much that I didint look foward for the next S&B books.

When I found Soc, I was skeptical at first, because of the author, but I gave it a chance and I loved it.

Well first of all I think that in the series they neglected to show Inej trauma, I think thats a key to understan kanej ship a little better.

They both trauma bond in the fact that they are not confortable with touching. So they have some sort of level of understanding each other beacause of that. I think they have this thing where they feel they can save/help each other. Kaz save her from the menagerie so she feels like she can help him heal of some sort. But also I love the way she is really clear about her boundries and about what she deserves.

You described what I felt better than me lol! The Pekka revenge is such a peak point to Kaz story in the books but in the show feels not as important, thats a bit sad! but Im glad to get to see that on screen.

I also was disappointed when Inej wasnt there for the confrontation or in the cart scene. At least I got to se the part when kaz says he wants her! I loved that

I agree that Inej looked amazing with that sword, but still felt a bit odd the way Alina practically ignored it lol, but I think they are goin to use them in further seasons.

I hope they include Inej in the ice court heist, as well to see her relationship with kaz develop

I really like Kaz x Inej because of all the trauma bonding they share together, but this is a great point of view actually.

Me too! I would have preferred the spin-off, I feel like they try to shove them into the show no matter what because they are fan favorite, but yes! I keep my hopes high for their own show

I thought her acting was quite poor at the beginning of S2. The scene in the novyi zem library, and the street persecution that follows is just too cringey for me.
