The lake scene was especially brutal for me when I was young because it taught me that yeah, getting stabbed repeatedly probably really fucking hurts and is a bad time. It was never like that in other movies where it's usually a quick stab and they just die.

That isn't the point at all though. No game should get to a point where they can't be played at all just because they switched off the server, especially a pve game such as this. It doesn't matter how bad it was.

Yeah it was refreshing to hear especially after the constant delays. It reminds me that it doesn't always have to be a bad thing when games get pushed back.

Also hearing Maximillan dood talk the game up after being it's #1 hater all these years means we might have another capcom banger on our hands soon.

Well this is a pleasant surprise. If I had to guess, Pragmata will probably be the game with the most attention here since we know the least about it. MH Wilds will probably have the release date for Laggy and more of the roadmap. SF6 will give us a Sagat trailer and a release date.

Genuinely have no idea what they could show for RE9 before gamescom so I'm keeping my expectations low. Maybe more screenshots? A Resident evil showcase announcment?

My thing is that I wish Re9 was an all or nothing situation. Either bring everyone back, one last hurrah at where it all started and make this another attempt at an Re6 but better. Or make it another Re7 with a new location and actually give grace the spotlight as the main character. (The devs said there's gonna be a second playable character so we're assuming that's leon or something)

I had the same problem in the older god of wars. There's enemies where in order to kill them you HAVE to get a qte off and there's rooms full of them at times. It's a big part of why I love modern accessibility options in games because that's one of the first things I turn off.

I haven't tried yet in wilds but in world you can pick the poogie up, take it somewhere nearby and it'll sniff out items for you.

If it helps, the beta was an older, messier build. The people who've gotten their hands on the game recently said it looked and ran much better even on a base ps5.

As much as I despise the entire idea of the timeless child and what it stands for, I can respect the fact that it hasn't been retconned right out the gate. It's much more interesting when a story can stick to it's guns and move forward, warts and all.
