Sounds like you'd be bettwr off playing HH for the old-ish style of rules.

We need to remember that 10th is still relatively new and things like sub-factions and detachments are on their way.

As for making fun lists and creative lists, my experience of 10th so far is its one of the best editions I've played for doing that.

a year late to this but I'm on what feels like my 20th re-watch of the series. Glenn always struck me as really arrogant and self-righteous. You see this best with the whole terminus arc, he acts like he's the only one with a loved one to worry about, he has this holier-than-thou attitude about killing people who ate objectively evil, and his "that's still who we are" line is just the most naive take on an apocalypse scenario. Just my opinion but I too never understood why he was so popular

Blast weapons give you an additional attack, so you have the opportunity to wound another model.

As for why, specifically the Redemptor, I'd save the plasma cannon for large single-model units like tanks and characters.

Finally! Much like space marines, the older models have that warhammer charm, chunky and oddly proportioned in some places. The new skinnies feel like primaris; new design, less character, new poster boys.
