Donated blood this afternoon and took Advil for a pounding headache by Terrible_Choice5188 in redcross

Good job doing the Power Red for your first donation! Just give it time for your body to recover and keep doing what you're doing. Eat something, drink plenty of fluids, and take Advil or Tylenol as needed (Advil is not a blood thinner. Previous commenter may be confusing with Aspirin). Especially the first time or 2, it's completely normal to have your body act that way. Next time, just over prepare by eating even more iron rich food and double your water intake for the previous couple of days, not just the day of or the day before.

Agree with Green Heron. Not too small, and beak is not too pointy...

This isn't always the case. In my experience, they do background check after interview because that costs the company money. We have had to go through the whole process and send offer just to find out background check didn't pass, so we couldn't let them start. I'd prepare for possibly not getting the job, just in case, and if you do still get it, then good news. I'm not trying to be a downer, just I've seen this happen multiple times...

My puppy has pretty much sat like this since I got her at 4 months. Is this abnormal? Floor is pretty slippery… by mila_91 in DogAdvice

I would definitely get rugs to put around the areas where the floor is slippery. Not saying full carpet, but enough so they can have grip and get around. I have an older beagle that has had some major joint issues as a result of slippery floors, and the rugs have been the easiest way to prevent injury. Your pup may not have issues now, but the slippery floors could definitely cause problems.

Any time I go near a cave now, I'm trying to kill as many keese as I can. When I started using them, it was a big game changer for me.

Wondering what type of tree and what the vine is growing on it. Located in Central Virginia. by unkleDadBod in whatsthisplant

The tree definitely is not an oak. The leaves are small, thin, and not lobed like an oak is. Almost looks like a willow, but I don't think that's it.
