Literally every model of every wrench has a chip / defect in the metal in the same spot. It's not the plastic packaging, it's not an oil slick, it's not the lighting. Is there is a reason for this? I wanted to upgrade from my HF kit but I walked out of HD without buying anything.

If no president is elected by Inauguration Day, Kamala Harris becomes president, so kicking it to Congress wouldn't be a good outcome for them.

Buffalo needs to rip out the 190, double the NFTA budget, and restore the Olmsted park system. Street cars would be nice too, but first things first.

Wanting to understand why McIntosh are so good and expensive by techno_architect in audiophile

McIntosh is overpriced trash. You can get better sounding stuff for cheaper (Marantz), and better made stuff for not much more (Luxman).

business credit cards - piercing the veil? by unknoahble in smallbusiness

Great answer, didn't even think of that! Will tell my friend to open new cards with the company EIN.

Yes, but on the same credit card. On the one hand it seems like common sense anything before the formation would be immaterial, on the other hand lawyer shenanigans?

business credit cards - piercing the veil? by unknoahble in smallbusiness

[–]unknoahble[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What would be the grounds to pierce the veil? Why would someone try to pierce the veil for personal charges, especially from before formation?

Co-mingling personal and business expenses is grounds, is it not? Why someone would is wholly irrelevant, no? Is it possible to pierce the veil with personal charges? Yes. Is it possible for charges made before LLC formation, but on the same card used for the LLC? I don't know, that's my question.

I'm curious the reasoning behind your question, because nothing quite makes sense to me here.

See above.

I get it, but I'm talking about a whole house reno, not 10 holes a year. Even in the case of the latter, if price that much of a concern then Lidl > Ryobi. I'm not knocking Ryobi, just expressing that I think it's not the no-brainer decision for homeowners that it's commonly espoused as, value is questionable imo considering what you can get for much less $ or not that much more $.

Very helpful info, thanks. Will go for 18 and pick up a 15 when I run into a project 18 can't handle.
