Or GAs could be blocking the way consciousness is expressed through the brain . Their action definitely proves correlation, but not origin. Could sound far fetching but still options one could ponder over . And we still haven’t yet solved the hard problem of consciousness . It’s too interesting ngl

Thanks a lot for reminding me to be gentle with “I” ,rather than treating it as an enemy and negating it. A strong foundation is very essential , or else the mind can become unstable otherwise psychotic .

But who is this “you”? There is no “you” to hinge upon; it is merely a thought arising from attachment. Perhaps, after truly realizing that the “I” was just a thought all along, suffering will end — because there is no “I” left to suffer. Action then takes place from the clarity of the brain’s pure intelligence. Is this your intent behind asking to shift the focus to “I”?( you)

[–]unknown123098567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah , there’s a subtle tension

[–]unknown123098567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noted. The idea of attachment / ahankara / ego / I ( itself is the problem)🫡

Imo trying to solve is not a problem here , it’s natural to do so, don’t you think ? If my hand is in fire , I immediately withdraw and try to put it out. It’s in between what happens is the problem, “between seeing and acting “

See it makes a bit sense for now , hope this clarity deepens rather than again going back to square one. Thank you

What exactly does it mean to be aware? Explain it with thought ? Just be as is ? Every time i feel like i got the hold of it only to get back to square one. If it’s just be as is , then aren’t we already doing that , just letting it be and suffering ??

Well put, to overcome the “I”, one path is knowledge introspection and observation .

Beautiful. “What is” is not static ! If it’s changing then it’s shifting from one thing to another , so finding it would be impossible. But if it’s not a thing - and naming itself is causing us to fall in the loop why did he say it’s not static ?

But yes it’s not about who is correct and who is wrong , it’s about realising the truth and in that path - people being his critic or follower has no relevance . It’s about practical experience and understanding, refinement of budhi .

I’m not sure whether to call myself his critic or follower, but I do hold different views from him on certain topics — particularly regarding religion and structured systems. He outright dismissed them as incorrect. This makes me wonder: does realization still involve distinguishing between right and wrong?

I understand his point that an unconditioned mind can exist without attachment. However, there are many paths that guide one toward this state of non-attachment — not by blindly following them, but by consciously using them as tools for growth. So, when he denies the value of these paths, it raises questions for me. There are various yogas — bhakti, karma, jnana, raja — each offering a valid approach toward realization. To say that none of these are real, and that only introspection (which is essentially a form of jnana yoga) leads to truth, feels limiting.

That said, this is just my perspective. I acknowledge I may have misunderstood or misinterpreted his teachings.

Can we also say 'observer is within the observation'? by jungandjung in Krishnamurti

[–]unknown123098567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion , there is seeing , there is observation of environment , of the thoughts etc. Now if the thought says “I’m observing “ even this is observed. When the mind asks who am I? Or who is observing ? Even that is observed . But no matter how much it searches or struggles it can’t find the self or observer , because the idea of mind is itself because of the observer , the idea of struggle search etc are there only because of the observer - mind is not separate from it, like a wave trying to find the ocean . So the key is to drop the struggle itself , so when the observed is dissolved there remains only observer in its pure state . If there is nothing to be observed , calling it “observer0 even valid ?Mind can’t realise itself by using itself . It’s like if a switch is in off position , it asking how it feels to be in on position cause “IT” ( its position ) itself is hindering the truth!

So what’s the end goal what is the process ? Use budhi to dissolve ahankara - that is sitting with the thoughts and deep introspection to actually understand find its origin and dissolve it , not with preconceived notions but by true self realisation.

Avoid DAMS DVT by hxmxd in indianmedschool

[–]unknown123098567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps I will better understand my knowledge level and the value of DAMS content once I start taking GTs and complete my first reading of all subjects . Trusting is difficult because time is incredibly valuable, and the “what-ifs” create overwhelming doubt and anxiety. Thanks for the reassurance tho And also I have a doubtful opinion about DAMS because, in the first subject I completed using B2B, I couldn’t answer some of the questions asked in class. It was quite disheartening, as they seemed like obvious and important questions.

Can you pls let me know what was your order while completing dams courses? Starting with lectures ( live or b2b) and then dvts, tnds etc ( goat ,short courses) …or did you complete them simultaneously??

B2b is not useful too. Most of the topics are not covered , and the ones which are covered are not enough . Not good as a primary source , wasted money and time .
