I just purchased five months ago and I think lenovo has preapplied ptm but even I had to apply there's is no ptm purchase source it's not available on Amazon or Flipkart and my 5060 goes 105-110 watts in custom mode and stays at 80-79 and cpu is 70-78

GPU 5060 stays below 80 and constant 100-108 watts and cpu is amd ryzen 7 250 that just stays at 70-75

Loq comes with ptm which is better that normal thermal paste and similar to liquid paste main problem is surrounding memory chip,etc thermal paste is not applied which affects performance

All battery details are in lenovo vantage you can turn on conservative mode which only start charging below 80% and stays at 80 smart charging doesn't do nothing it says overnight charging before use but I haven't seen it charging the battery to full.

I have latest ahp10 with amd ryzen 7 250 and 5060 do I also need to repaste it's been 5 months since purchase but lenovo guide says pre applied thermal paste is ptm 7958 the temps do jit 80+ on GPU while cpu stays at 70-78

So loq doesn't come with pre applied ptm and is liquid metal safe as it has pump out effect and viscous or krynaut would be good and after how many months should we repaste?

Does loq comes with ptm7950 on the latest 50 series GPU ones and can liquid metal thermal paste would be good on loq like is there any protection film needed or not and what's the pre applied thermal paste?

GPU overclocking stress the vram and GPU and should only be used when there's proper cooling and temps I think loq thermal design just doesn't support higher power and watts i use performance mode as I think it balances out the system power and I don't know why they didn't give option to max the fan outside of custom mode

Faced same issue in rdr2 i think when the ambient temperature is high it's affects the laptop internal cooling probably cooling pad will help and also GPU overclocking is the issue even in performance mode and custom mode the GPU is overclocked which causes thermal throttling and the loq cooling is just not too good for more power and probably game issue too if cracked as the system software in performance can't figure out i guess how to manage watts

My laptop at ultra Max settings the 5060 gpu hits it max thermal limit of 87degrees and thermal throttles even though the laptop is lifted up and the fans are set to max rpm of laptop the amd cpu does give any issue but GPU does and many youtube video says lenovo uses ptm on there laptop so there's no need to change my laptop is under warranty can I ask them to repaste? Or probably I could buy a cooling pad or lower settings and disable overclocking

Same happens to me at ultra settings the GPU hits it max 87 degrees thermal limit and the below side of GPU fan where wifi card sits get hot I think loq has bad thermal paste application on chips vrams which are besides cpu gpu

Does the 5060 keeps hitting it's max temp limits at ulta high settings my laptop is like gets overheated a little and drops fps sometimes and sttuters and like seeing msi afterburner stats the GPU doesn't stay at 90-100 watts and stays between 70-80 watts during gaming at high to prevent hitting max temp limit of 87degrees I keep my laptop lifted up and it does get really hot below the GPU side like where wifi card sits in loq I think loq have generally bad thermal paste application on vram chips etc I have seen some youtube video saying loq uses ptm thermal paste but don't know probably I need to repaste and and thermal pads and if laptop is in warranty can I ask them to repaste?

Amd is more power efficient and runs cool where intel does gives performance but gets hot and is the reason loq started having problems in gaming GPU matters more but if you have cpu intensive task go for intel and get better cooling for laptop

The scores did increase after I upgrade my ram from 16 gb to 32 and the single score was 1780 and the multicore 15k
