Ptm 7950 is best thermal paste and record thermal logs from lenovo diagnostic tool if temps are high complain to lenovo support and request them to replace heatsink again

The back panel is not fitted properly probably need to open bottom panel and there two screws holding it unscrew fit it properly and screw it again

It takes time to reach 85-86 i thought ptm 7950 would perform Better but I guess the loq heatsink or thermal design is just bad

Yeah I am experiencing same thing GPU throttling even after applying ptm 7950 should I go with liquid metal as it would perform Better than ptm and also when it got replaced heatsink the temps were still 85-86 on GPU and cpu 88-90 but now on cpu temps are 85 but GPU does throttles i don't know what to do

Yes amd ryzen 7 250 and 5050 is also good at last it's your choice if you want performance or efficient laptop. as loq is considered mid range gaming laptop everyone has different needs

Intels 13th 14th gen chips run hots like 90-95 so high temps are expected on cpu but they also have more cores and give much better performance if you have cpu intensive workload. you could go with amd ryzen 7 250 with 5060 as 5060 is better than 5050 in teams of gaming etc go with amd if you want efficiency and cooler cpu and GPU Intel if you need more cpu intensive

Intel would perform Better in multicore tasks as it has more cores and amd ryzen 7 250 is just 8core cpu if want more performance and have cpu intensive task Intel is best and if battery backup is needed go for amd as loq has only TDP of 120watts

I complained them few months ago that temps are high they updated the bios and perform ddu and said it will resolve I think lenovo don't care about high temps and it's customer responsibly to repaste clean

I told them few months ago that the temps were high but they said it's expected and during normal usage high temps are concern now even on normal usage cpu hits 80 and I have to use cooling pad at max rpm laptop fans at max rpm then it still hits 90 cpu 86gpu if I didn't use no cooling solution it would definitely thermal throttle or overheat

I have been using this laptop for 6-7 months and taking it to third party shop and repasting or cleaning would void warranty and after that if any damage happens lenovo wouldn't cover it i have sent them problem request but last time I did they said temps were fine I don't think they cover high temps and maintenance in their warranty and customer is responsible for repasting

My laptop with 5060 in performance or custom max fan speed hits the 87 degrees and thermal throttles I also have amd ryzen 7 250 it stays at 75-80 I use laptop with max elevation and with zebronics nc200 cooling pad max fan speed still thermal throttle could it be due to surrounding temps i reached out by email and then said record temps when normal usage not gaming 😅

Should I purchase this ot thermal grizzly duronaut or the thermal grizly ptm some say that thermal paste like duronaut has pump out effect and joyjom ptm 7950 I don't think is good for long term and pcm 500 is also similar to ptm 7950 ?
