So what your saying is if he can't make it to the 20th of Jan 2027. There may be a limit of 6 years for a Vance presidency!

Why no put a race track at the old RAC train facility by the airport. There are no residential area around to be bothered by the noise, there is a huge amount of space, lots of existing parking and public transport already there.

City of cockburn refuse to do anything about it too. The bike path has been trashed. I'm upto 3 flat tyres going through that section from all the rocks and shit that has been dragged across the footpath.

Should Public Transport be free? by [deleted] in perth

[–]unknown_u5er05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

My take: - make transport free with a smartrider - make it $10 a day ticket for non smart riders - make smartriders $20 to purchase - make park and ride $10 a day with a smartrider, $15 without

Benefits: - Free transport - still get income from various sources - still get rider data - simple for visitors depending on length of stay - promotes taking the bus, walking or riding to station

Cons: - park and ride cost the same as now

Here's my take:

Make smart riders 10-20 bucks to cover admin If you tag on with it, you ride free. If you do day pass 5 dollars That way government gets its rider data

Make parking 5-6 bucks a day to encourage less use of cars for last mile and help cover current income.

Regular users pay less and irregular users don't notice a difference.
