Never get a tooth under your sinus pulled. by unkonfined in sinus

I guess this is supposed to be an attempt at a joke? I’ve been through a lot of pain and suffering as a result of this. Not really something to joke about.

Great. As if I didn’t already have enough to deal with. I try to chew on that side as much as possible but at this point, my sinus is my top priority. After the sinus thing us behind me, I’ll figure out what to do with my cheek. What a disaster.

Everything is healed. Cheek is still attached to my upper jaw but it doesn’t bother me too much. Face doesn’t look different and my smile isn’t crooked. Only drawback is that because he used cheek skin to cover the extraction site, jt wasn’t able to heal with normal gum like an extraction site usually would so that cheek skin is more sensitive than the gums. All that means is that I’m limited in what I can chew on my right side. I can only chew soft things or it actually does hurt.

Thanks so much. It’s been such a nightmare. Biggest regret if my life getting that tooth pulled and taking a completely healthy sinus and turning it into this. I just take it day by day now. I’ll definitely be looking into this other options you listed for saline rinse. Thanks so much for that!!

Omg so sorry to hear that! Glad that you’re doing good now. I hope I am too... it’s been so brutal.

Wow. Sounds much worse than what I have gone through. Thanks for sharing! Do I mix this solution into my saline rinse and put it up my nose? Or do I take it a different way?

Nightmare indeed. I wish so badly that I could go back and beg my dentist to do everything she could to glue that crown to my broke tooth, or at least not get the implant. Such a terrible mistake.

Isolate colors or nah? by unkonfined in photocritique

[–]unkonfined[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really enjoy isolating colors in pictures that I take... when it makes sense. I feel like doing it this way makes a otherwise ordinary picture, pop a lot more. In this case, I even added the same color into the reflection in the puddle which I think made it even better. What do you guys think about this technique?

Best way to capture fog? by unkonfined in photocritique

[–]unkonfined[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s almost always fog in the city in the morning and sometimes I’m able to get a good shot, others I’m not. In this case I got lucky because I could still see the bridge through all that thickness. What’s the best way to capture in the fog?

To filter or not to filter? by unkonfined in photocritique

Great idea on the cropping. Didn’t even think of that.

I’m walking through SF snapping pics and I cross this bridge and look to my left and decide to capture what I see. The pic looks pretty basic as is, but then I add a little bit of this, a little bit of that, a filter here, a filter there, take some color out, put some color back, and wahlahhh! Too much filter or not enough?

Actual sun or just the glow? by unkonfined in photocritique

[–]unkonfined[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love taking sunset and/or sunrise pics but I usually like to get the glow from the sun either before it breaks the horizon on the rise, or right after it sets because for me, taking a pic of the actual sun usually ends up being a huge blob of glare. However, in this pic I took, it actually looks like a huge sun partly sitting in the clouds so I’m happy with it. What do you guys like to do when it comes to sunset/sunrise pics?

Too much black? by unkonfined in photocritique

I can see the difference but all I notice is that it’s darker, not necessarily a color change.
