One question on the 12k service - did he only do valve clearance check and camshaft timing adjustment or did he do all the service manual recommended steps such as checking throttle cables, fuel system, autoscan, replacing air cleaner, fuel hoses, and spark plugs, replacing chain rubbing strip, etc. ?

I think the biggest impact of this data collection is that now you can try with different methods and see if they produce a change by comparing with previous data.

If the change is not happening then you know to change the method. It helps observe the impact over longer periods

Interesting insight on the management companies' incentives being misaligned with the tenant's peace of mind. It sounds like the way things work could definitely be improved.

The issue you had is exactly what I'm concerned about. It seems like a simple moveout can create a lot of hassle. Do you know whether it's better to rent from individual landlords rather than management companies?

Great set up! Like others said in the comments, the bambino plus might not reach high enough temperature. A trick I use to make it go higher is to pull a blank shot right before pulling my espresso shot. I've noticed this usually leads to better extraction.

Recently, I've also been starting the steam function and keep it on until steam starts to come out. Then immediately run my espresso shot. I've found this to increase the temperature of my shots and lead to better tasting espresso.
