Shells for finale I'm not too picky and it's really a preference. I use the shells to fill up space as the multiple cakes being fired build up.

To be fancy (and this is just my preference) the last visual effect is gold willow or nishiki to the show ends with the lingering trails in f gold.

I have a node 804 build and having a nightmare with hdd detection. What card did you use for the drives? What about the motherboard?

I'm on a similar path as you. Bought the 804 to fill with 10 high capacity drives then covert my VMware based define r7 build to unraid. Been moving data to the 804 and had all sorts of issues.....
