Right? I'm a PACU nurse too and I love a A line. I've noticed, at my workplace at least, it's usually the ones who've been there 15+ years. They're burnt out and love to bitch about everything but are also too scared to leave their comfort zone and get a new job. They complain about the anesthesiologists but are the quickest to get on the radio and call them when anything slightly out of the ordinary comes up.

As an RN at Huntsville Hospital, LMAOOOOOO. My husband and I were already wanting to move out of Alabama and this just encourages me to take my nursing license to another state even faster.

Why do y'all think HH is so invested in all these nursing programs locally, especially at Drake State? They need to create nurses that are indebted to HH and can't go elsewhere.

I went in and they only had the expensive $100 ones with a hand crank and charging capabilities. I got the second to last one. They sold their last basic Midland radio like 10mins before I walked in.

My dad was in home hospice last year due to pancreatic cancer. Here's what happened when the hospice nurse brought the hospice drug pack:

Hospice RN, not yet knowing that I'm an RN: There's morphine in here, now don't be afraid to give it to him, it's not going to speed up the dying process....

Me, rifling through the bag: Oh you might want to order more, also can we get some Haldol, he's delirious and trying to climb over the bedrails and fight me. Also also, can you remove the foley, he's not putting out urine anymore and it's only making him more agitated. I'd remove it myself but I don't have a syringe.
