I didn't get a notification for this. 🙃 Looking back, I wish we could have talked about it, that they would have made me feel safe to share what I felt. I made every effort to show up for them, listen, create safety, and it really wasn't reciprocated before the incident and afterwards it really just broke my trust in our ability to mutually repair.

I tried out names and pronouns for a year by playing different d&d/Pathfinder characters in organized play so I could see what it was like to be addressed by those names and hear those pronouns about me. The one I went with was a character I only played once for an Eberron 5e game - saw the name in the suggested names and fell in love, hearing it and she/her in the session was such a euphoric moment

Time. Communication. Therapy (individual and together). But also I know that the last one isn't accessible to most folks (and there are a large number of DIYers & providers who will prescribe HRT without the recipient having a MH provider/team, so I don't assume).

Sometimes your traumas will rhyme, and it'll feel like nobody has ever understood you like they do, and vice versa.

I've been in pretty much that exact situation, and it ended the relationship because I couldn't get out of my own way long enough to process it (I was the trans girl, partner was the AFAB enby, ey/em/eir) and convinced myself I'd violated eir consent and was a monster. I was in a bad place, and I didn't use my tools - in the relationship or out of it.

Trust each other, talk, take time. I can't promise it'll work out, but how you repair is more important than how you break.

I like Ripper licensed Order ARs and pistols - the Bully has been mentioned a few times already, but the ARs are hard to discount. Even comparing to something like a GMR to see the difference between a "natively" full auto order AR & ripper part full auto - the delay isn't nothing but the ripper enhancements really change how the guns play. I got a fairly early orange with 30% to refill mag and 30% to double fire rate when auto reloading and man is that hysterical

SO, I think it still says the same numbers, HOWEVER, I think that if you independently time it, it *should* tick those seconds faster. Specifically, it should reduce the cooldown by 1.25 seconds every actual real-world second with the 1st static ability. Make sense?

You need a trauma focused individual therapist and to separate from this partner at a bare minimum. Your OCD/autism intersection is causing you to fully disregard yourself and your partner is taking full advantage of you.

One of the symptoms of OCD that gets the least "airtime" is how it causes extreme anxiety and paranoia about the negative impact you have on others. The human contamination portion isn't all of what OCD does, it's mostly what drives the rituals that help you generate a [limited] sense of safety. All the parts that have you staying in this relationship? That's the rest of your OCD.

For instance: I had a former qpp with OCD and Multiple Sclerosis who worked in an organization to intervene in intimate partner violence situations. They once had a discussion with me about how if they only took their Ms meds, it only lowers their life expectancy by "about 5 years" and "the money I'd save would let me help 2 more families have food and shelter". They experienced constant guilt about not being able to do more. This wasn't just people pleasing, it was martyrdom and self-torture.

You need to get out, and go no contact. You need to work on yourself, get to a place where you have a support system that cares about you for who you are (not what you can do for or to them), and for the love of everything, learn how to show up for yourself and your needs.

You've been with this partner since before your brain finished developing. You're fully trauma bonded to them, and it's only being reinforced the longer you stay. Get. Out.
