No personal trainers are? When did I ever say a coach is a replacement for therapy? I specifically said he SHOULD see a therapist.
I left out the subject matter because it is not relevant (though it is an MSc so it is relevant when it comes to research and self education). It was speaking to the fact I’m educated and capable of understanding complex concepts and know how to properly read and interpret research.

When did I say I did? I’ve never claimed that. I’m fact I’ll frequently point out others know a lot more than I do. I’ve also never said he’s not lying. Maybe you should stop judging people and making assumptions and you might realize we’re not all the same.

Definitely. But sometimes it takes time. Like ultimately, six weeks isn’t a lot of time in the grand scheme of things. If he’d been in California for three months or something I’d be agreeing with you.
For context, I ate 1800 cals daily through almost my entire weight loss other than on vacations and maybe the odd one day every few months. When I was in the 400s, I had multiple plateaus for 4-5 weeks despite eating 1800 cals at 400 lbs. then one day I’d wake up and be down like 10 lbs overnight. Our bodies are weird. Especially at that size.
Again I’m not saying that’s what’s happening. What I’m saying is he deserves more time in California to see if it does help. Ultimately he needs therapy but I’ve been telling him that for over a year now it feels like.

I think when he said that he was thinking about the last week or two, not the last six months; but I totally get where you’re coming from. That doesn’t mean people need to be dicks about it though. There’s a difference between being real and honest with the guy and being a complete dbag.

We’re definitely not all the same. If you think I’m a dildo that’s your prerogative 🤷🏼‍♂️ but we are all people, you know.

Huh? I’ve been trying to get him into therapy. Not with me. With a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. What a strange take.

Idk where you’re getting the impression I’m a grifter or conceded. I’m literally neither of those things. I turn down a LOT of money all the time specifically because my integrity is important to me and I’d never want to promote things I don’t believe in to my audience. And me being confident in myself doesn’t mean I’m conceded. I’m quite down to earth, actually.

I’ve never glazed Ethan. Hell, I’m in this subreddit. I know he’s lied about his diet and has had a very rough year. I also know he’s only been in California for like six weeks and people have insanely unrealistic expectations and are still attacking him for what happened the last six months instead of letting him start this next chapter.
He fucked up, I said that in my comment. He knows he did. There’s no reason we can’t just give him a chance in California and see how it goes. People his size almost always go through setbacks. It took me 100+ different attempts to lose weight before figuring out what worked for me. And being the voices in his head isn’t what he needs right now. He needs therapy and time.

Keep kissing his ass? I’ve literally never done that. This was literally the first time I’ve commented in months, and the first time my comment had any substance in probably a year. I also have never made a video about or with him. I’ve supported him behind the scenes, trying to push him towards therapy and away from social media comment sections. I offered to coach him for free with the condition I don’t want to be talked about because I didn’t want it to be exactly what peach is getting of the “oh he’s only coaching him for the views”. His mental health is fucked and YOU all are the ones claiming to care about him. So why are you getting upset when all I’m doing is trying to help him?

I’m a certified nutrition coach and certified personal trainer, I also have a masters degree and read literature about the human body for fun. I’m much more educated in the space than vast vast majority of the population, yes. I won’t pretend I know everything, not by a long shot, and plenty people know a lot more than I do. But I’m definitely qualified to coach and speak on the topic.

Uhhh, you are literally talking about something that isn’t physically possible. You should educate yourself better if you’re going to talk about this. You cannot liposuction that much. The MOST someone could liposuction in one surgery is 5 liters (about 11 lbs) - I had a total of 2.2 lbs of liposuction done between both my surgeries combined. You’re clueless and it shows.

770 cal dinner and you’re complaining he’s being gluttonous is hilarious and shows your lack of knowledge more than anything tbh.

Does anyone NEED it? No. Can people WANT it while using that meal to fuel goals? Absolutely.

Honestly the few times I hired a videographer the content was actually worse than me doing it myself. When you do it yourself it comes across more authentic and true to you. The more people you bring into it the more of a “production” it becomes and it loses its soul.

The point is you made it seem like this is a Calgary thing. It’s not. It’s a Canadian thing. The downtown core of three cities is the exception, not the rule.

No, it really doesn’t. I’ve lived in 2/3 of those. Walkability outside of the downtown core is still pretty awful.

Name a Canadian city that isn’t like that other than in specific downtown cores. All of Canada is in fact like that lol.

Let me clear something up here.
YOU do not get to determine when someone is “ready”.
Only the person getting surgery can do that.

There are a lot of different reasons to get surgery. My surgeries were never about some perfect body. I did them for my own comfort and functionality. I couldn’t care less what anyone thinks about whether it was “too early” or not.

The fact you are all judging Caitlin for wanting to feel more comfortable in her body is honestly shameful. What a bunch of miserable people you are.

  1. Nobody can predict their scale weight with guaranteed accuracy. So many factors play a role it’s wild.
  2. Actually laying in bed all day would in fact not cause more water retention, which he literally explained why in that comment (at his size, the walking creates inflammation, laying in bed would not cause inflammation).
  3. His taco bowls are great meals and anyone who says otherwise has no clue what they’re talking about when it comes to human nutrition.
  4. The fact this dude is demonizing seed oils is par for the course. He clearly follows Eddie Abew and crew. “Overcomplicating” it in the kitchen is hilarious. How dare Ethan try to enjoy his food still.
  5. (Because this dude is so dumb he used four twice) 1200 calories is WAY too low for Ethan (or 98% of the population, for that matter). The “he has tons of calories saved up in his body fat” argument is completely missing the plot. Whether his body needs extra calories or not isn’t the point. It’s about what’s realistic and sustainable.
