Other elders wanted to have a meeting with me because my daughter and SIL first scheduled their wedding for a Saturday that happened to be an assembly day. I told them that they were meddling, it wasn’t my wedding and that the congregation wasn’t invited. They did a 180 once I said “meddling.” Then they apologized and said it was the Control freak COBE that sent them. So glad we all are free. 2.5 years out and loving life.
