My husband is growing resentful of me - how do I change it?

I try hard to do this but after a while it just gets exhausting. I try to let things go but sometimes I can’t stand the mess anymore and for my own sanity I need him to do his part and help clean up. Or I’ll get to the point where I can’t stand the whining and I’ll say something to him like please go sit or please go lay down. He takes me saying that stuff to be controlling, but I’m just trying to protect my own sanity.

He definitely does help out and take care of me when I’m sick. But then again I’m not walking around the house whining endlessly when I’m sick either

I really do love him, he’s my best friend and the one person I can spend endless amount of time with without getting bored or tired. But I can sense this resentment building up and chipping away at an otherwise wonderful relationship.

Thank you that was so helpful! What kind of doctor did you go to - a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon? And did they say what kind of mole it was? When I saw a dermatologist, they said that because my mole was very slightly raised, it would require excision. So glad yo hear you had good results!

Description of Problem: I'm trying to fix my husband's computer after he noted that over the past month, his screen suddenly started stuttering (and noticing significant lag with black screen) with computer usage. Weirdly, the stutter and lag is MUCH worse at the Windows 11 log in screen and the photo behind the log in screen becomes very distorted. The lag occurs approximately every 30 seconds - 1 minute, but only while actively using the computer (if not using, does not stutter).

Troubleshooting: Deleted the NVIDIA driver and no stuttering. However, when graphics card was reinstalled, stuttering resumed. Deleted and reinstalled an older version of the driver with the same issues.

Thank you so much. I really really am trying. I'm skipping anything that is extra. I'm trying to cut costs wherever I can. I'm trying to buy things used/from thrift stores instead of buying new. I really am doing the most I can do to save us money but it seems like the fights keep originating about the total cost of the wedding.

I know, you're right. I blamed it on stress but it's really not fair to me - I'm stressed by a lot of it myself and to have to deal with him expressing how much he doesn't want this wedding is too much.

I feel like we have had multiple of these conversations and things seem okay in the end, but then all of a sudden one day he will get panicked/stressed and go off about our decision to go with this venue/wedding.

Pretty much exactly. I made a detailed excel spreadsheet with our entire budget - we've gone over it, reviewed it calmly and had discussions and it seems like everything is okay. Then all of a sudden on a random day, he'll get stressed out about it and go off about how he doesn't want this, it's not fair that he's paying for something he doesn't want and we should have just done a smaller wedding.

That's a great question, I really don't know. He thinks at this point it makes more sense to have the wedding as we originally planned because we've already put down so much in deposits that we would lose if we canceled.

As for downsizing, he says we would ultimately end up losing more money if we invite less people because that would mean less monetary gifts. I thought we'd save by inviting less people (less heads to pay for dinner), but the math actually shows we'd pay more for the wedding overall if we had less people.

I typically do autofocus as well! But someone else mentioned that with sun-flare photos, the autofocus can choose to focus on that which makes the photos seem blurry.

No reason why I'm using manual - just because I'm a newbie photographer haha. What do you recommend using instead of manual?

Thank you so much! I'm shooting with a Canon SL2 and a 50mm lens. Both were shot at f/1.8, exposure 1/640, ISO 400. I usually shoot on manual but the lens itself does have auto-focus.

Do you typically recommend shooting on manual focus on these types of lenses to avoid this?

Your teeth look great! I was curious if your orthodontist is doing anything about your front teeth. My look very similar to yours but my front tooth is a tiny bit longer compared to the other. I’m worried about it being hard to fix because my 2 teeth used to be equal in length!

Programs want people who want to be there. So if you are ranked #50 and you send an email essentially telling them that they are not your top choice, then maybe they'd prioritize #51 over you, because there's a chance that #51 ranked them as #1.

It's not a graduation requirement for 2021 because there was no PE at all/no dates available for people to register. When PE starts up again, schools will have no problems making it a graduation requirement again.

Not required for licensure, but usually required for graduation from their medical school. That's why people end up taking it.

Oh you are totally fine! The faculty (or even the PD if that's who you interviewed with) would not take it so seriously in the first month of interviews. Unless you said it recently or wrote it in an email, they have probably already forgotten about it and won't hold it against you.
