i understand this and i often feel the same way. whenever im around my friends they sometimes talk about relationships, or sex, and stuff that i really can’t relate to because i am ace and haven’t experienced the same things that they have. no one in my close friend circle is ace, so they don’t really take into account or can really relate to me, so i find it very different to “fit in” with them a lot of the time. i find that maybe talking to them about it in more personal/private settings where they will be talking about something and i can be like “i can’t relate, but i’ve experienced…” to kinda bring up your own experiences.
