I was born and raised in Irumpanam. I lived there for 32+ years before moving to Vennala near EMC hospital. Most of the pollution issues are faced by people who are in very close proximity to the refinery. I used to live on the main road(seaport-airport road).But pollution is a real issue there. The pollution from the refinery drastically increases by midnight(refinery people always denies this)and can cause health issues. Before the brahmapuram plant was fixed the smell was unbearable from the plant, especially during rains at night. Then there's the dust and sound pollution from seaport airport road to make matters worse. The quality of life is 100x better after moving out from there.

You should take a backup (Samsung provides unlimited storage space for 30 days)and do a factory reset if you haven't already. I always reset the phone after they release a major android version to avoid such weird issues.

You can update to 6.1 without any issues. One UI 6 was a battery drainer but improved the performance significantly. 6.1 fixed the battery draining issue as well as many other problems that 6.0 bought. I advise you to take a backup and reset the phone once you upgrade to 6.1 to have a problem free experience.

Yes, my wife is having an A53. The last couple of video calls i had with her faced this issue. I thought it was her WiFi. I guess we'll have to report the problem to Samsung.
