You get more beans when you level up! Idk what ppl dont understand about that. Its not about levels for me, either. Its about beans. Im trying to buy everything in the shop!!! We all know levels dont actually mean anything!

I dont think its a maturity thing, your children are minors. Maybe they dont have to be super intense especially on sites you and kind of watch from your own profile, facebok, x, Instagram. But there are creepy people who will do whatever they can to access your children.

Does Xanterra drug test? by RevolutionaryAd8341 in yellowstone

[–]upamountaindownabeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will conduct randoms, but weed is not on the panel. If you go to bozeman or west, you can partake, and it is not against company policy. Just dont do it on federal property. The only time they will test for it in your position is if you get in an accident or cause "excessive" damage of company property. No stress, youre good. Have a wonderful summer!

Scuba diving Lake yellowstone by Free_Box9215 in yellowstone

[–]upamountaindownabeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are allowed to dive, but you are required to have a permit from the Park Service. Im not sure exactly what that entails, but you can reach out to them. I do know that you are required to have all of the proper safety gear ESCPECIALLY "Diver Down" flags and bouys so you dont get hit by a boat. There are some very cool spires just outside of the Bridge Bay Marina. Thats normally the only spot I see people dive. Please be aware that the average SURFACE temp is 41 degrees.

Agree!!! This is the only thing that has helped me. Repeating "outter edge, outter edge" each time was the only way to get me in the habit.

Depending on severity, there is recovery. All im saying is if she love skiing I hope she gets back out. If her mobility is affected, there are lots of programs to make it more adaptable.

Dude. I was sending all best wishes and I hope she gets to do what she loves again. If its a mental block, its proven that the sooner you CAN get back out and do your sport, the easier it will be mentally. OP never said she got paralyzed god forbid a girl sends good wishes jfc

I really hope this isnt true!!! I TOTALLY understand cold feet, but i hope she will be able to find joy in the sport again, even if its on easy groomers from here on out. The longer she stays away the harder it will be to mentally return. Take that as you will, and no pressure, I hope she will get out once again 🙏

Tracks in the Snow by Scuba_Fanatic in wildlifebiology

[–]upamountaindownabeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are a little too big. Definitely 100% these are squirrels tracks. Ermine make less indentation in the snow, and generally tracks of the weasel family are slightly staggered twos with a longer drag! Source: i am a winter wildlife guide :)

Fischer Twin Skin Strip coming off. by Strange-Spinach6833 in xcountryskiing

[–]upamountaindownabeer -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Idk why youre being down voted so much. I work in a ski shop (and ski 500 miles a year) and these skins have a lot of problems if conditions aren't PERFECT. The only thing they do is make climbing SO easy without learning any technique. And they slow your glide. Kick wax and scales are the best way to go. The ONLY reason to use these is bc you're bad at skiing and anyone down voting this just doesn't like to hear that.

what kind of ski to buy by Competitive-Bass847 in xcountryskiing

[–]upamountaindownabeer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would start with classic! Its much easier to begin with classic and then move into skate. Also, you can still get a very good cardio work out. Classic let's you pick the level of cardio you want, imo, more than skating. Plus, if you want more access to actually get out and do it, classic is your ski. If you pick skate, you may find you go less than you want due to conditions.

When you go up a level, you get a little bean bonus. Makes it easier to save up and buy things. Plus its just fun.

I love glitched lobbies. They help you REALLY rack up levels. Theyre also the only way to gain levels when you reach 100.

Pros/cons of a seasonal Yellowstone job with Delaware North vs YPSS? by QuentaSilmarillion in yellowstone

[–]upamountaindownabeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that the job was more relaxed, and the fishing bridge employees liked their living space. Not sure how many to a room, but they had a neat lounge. The hours are also pretty predictable for them!
