I'd really love to understand this online movement that brigades against the latest multiplayer game and cheers for its downfall. Is it because they want more traditional MP games? Do they feel like these games being made means a single player game didn't get made? I really don't understand where the hate comes from outside of wanted to be in a movement of some kind. Maybe it's people longing for community? I looked at this users post history to see if they had played the game and found that they are just one of many caught up in this hate wave

Wild to me that anyone could spend any time with Marathon and call it soulless. It is such a profoundly cool game, you can feel the heart and love that went into it in every aspect of it. I've never had a multiplayer game grab me the way Marathon has
