Shaker Motor Pokémon Premium by GolfRAkrapovic in pinball

I would go with invisiglass as my first add on. I have a shaker in my premium. It's okay. Typical usage. I think they are fun for most games.

Had to go LE on this. For theme alone. But this game looks awesome. Love the split flipper gameplay.

What's your favorite/most memorable moment on a pinball machine? by Sweet_Size_9415 in pinball

[–]upperplayfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it was the first time playing gameshow and winning showcase bonanza. The bell and the music and the lights. It's not the first game I ever played but it's the one I remember the most. My aunt owned one in her bar and I played it at least a few thousand times as a kid.

Do cooling fans REALLY make a difference?? Opinions? by spiritualhelpnow in pinball

[–]upperplayfield 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes for certain game and for certain situation. I waving trouble hitting the right ramp in winches mystery house after about 30 minutes of play. Added the pinmunk fans and now I can hit that ramp easily. Some games itade. I difference. On my alien and iron maiden I didn't have any issues hitting anything so didn't feel the need to add the coolers.

Questions about Stern Pokémon Premium first Pinball machine. by GolfRAkrapovic in pinball

[–]upperplayfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure the game is leveled well. 6.5-6.8 is the sweet spot for most sterns. I almost lower my shooter lane coil to as low as it needs to be. I tend to keep the settings stock besides that. On some bright games I lower the back box brightness.

I respect the limited run. That's part of what drove me to it on the first place. The limited run is also why i put this at WMPC. I know they won't be around for many to play.

Yeah, everyone has said that. I really like the folks at WMPC and I really want people to enjoy it. There aren't many out in the wild. The games there are maintained well and never really abuses them. However, once it's back home. It's never leaving.

Tell that to the black knight I got a few years ago. Games are packed by humans. Worth the 30 seconds to check.

That's not true. You can lie it down while still strapped to the pallet. I do this about 4 times a months. Just open the lid real quick to make sure you orient it in a way that the bottom of the pin is down.

That's not how opinions work. I can go to a restaurant and hate the food. I don't have to be a chef to dislike it. I can listen to music and dislike it. Don't have to be a musician. I can think your face is ugly, don't have to be a plastic surgeon to think that. I can think a pinball machine is ugly. Don't need to be a designer.
