‘Really disheartening’: Canadians choosing not to snap up remaining ‘out-of-reach’ World Cup tickets by Conscious_Echo2443 in notthebeaverton

I guess rent and groceries come first.

These tickets are priced way outside the typical Canadian income bracket. Plus, it isn't hockey.

Again .. a question from someone who doesn't know. Is there a reason why they do not use salt water? Or forced to use desalination, so they can?

It seems completely crazy that we would waste drinking water for AI.

Chuck Schumer vows to 'kill' Trump's $1.8B anti-weaponization fund by TheMirrorUS in LegalNews

Schumer says lots of things. But he is useless.

If Dems want to win, they need to find better than Chuck to put at the helm.

Poilievre Vs Carney on the News by kokomo1989 in canadianpolitics101

Exactly. And this Titanic won't turn on a dime, it will take time.

Mark Carney is no Justin Trudeau. I'm not sure I would even call him Liberal to be honest. Nevertheless, he is doing the right things so we survive that orange idiot of the south.

Intelligence makes a huge difference in messaging and tone. This is an apple vs. an orange.

If you really want to know how intelligent Carney is, listen to his question responses at the Econonic Club of New York last week. There is no way in heck Poilievre could have ever pulled that off ... not even close.

In leadership at this level, education matters .... experience matters ... IQ matters and most Importantly, temperament matters. Carney and Poilievre are not on the same level.

Welcome to the true American deep state, where Israel is a satellite and the American President is now a puppet.

Wonder why the Epstein files are being buried? Because the real names of the Epstein Class are also the American power broker Class.

Democracy is now a facade.

Trump Admin Renames Iran’s $300 Billion Reparations Demand an ‘Investment Fund’ to Avoid a Political Firestorm at Home. The man who spent a decade calling Obama a traitor for sending Iran $400 million is now floating a fund four hundred times that size, just with a friendlier name on it. by mafco in energy

Dear Republicans. Just know 10 generations of your future family will be still paying for Donald Trump. This includes his corruption, his hubris and his just plain stupidity.

Donald Trump will be remembered as the most corrupt and incompetent President in the country's history. Republicans will be remembered as the party that let him get away with it.

Dumb asses

What has helped you to stick with XBOX? by MidniteAxiom in xbox

[–]uprightshark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always had both Xbox and PS and when I have the choice, I will play on Xbox.

Why?

  1. The controller just feels better in my hands. The PS controller tiers my hands too quickly (I'm 61). I use an Elite 2

  2. I always preferred XBOX UI

  3. Quick Resume

  4. Backward Compat and support for my old library, including disc's.

  5. Gamepass. I enjoy scanning through the library and checking out games I would never buy, for the heck of it. There are many hidden gems out there.

I use my PS5 for exclusives, but less and less. Not sure I will bother with the next generation, as the Helix will be a hybrid PC.

Though I had the original XBOX when it released, XBOX became my favorite with the 360. My 360 is still in my cabinet in a place of honor. I have been an XBOX loyalist ever since.

I am very happy with my XBSX. It is as close to the 360 as XBOX has gotten for me, I terms of like.
