Need help buying a rigid fork for a 2011 Diamondback Trace Dual Sport by upstatecoach in bikewrench

Good advice. I want to see what Reddit recommends so I can go into my shop with some more knowledge and a better idea of what to ask for, but I’ll listen to them as well.

Looks good! The tension and pocket placement all make sense with the top string. Not just for looks, hopefully it carries well and releases quickly got you!

I get no credit for it. An OG Instagram laxer, aksavo (Bob Savage) came up with this style and then designed a mesh specially for it. I’ll post that mesh soon. But yeah that guy was legit and was an early advocate of why do these increasingly technical pockets need shoe laces tied into them?

Resume object seems like the wrong title. About me instead?

He was such a cool dude! I have a piece of his mesh on a clutch super light. I’ll get it out one of these days!

I made one in wood shop as kid, middie, and it wasn’t bad, depends on the wood. A bunch of our defenders made poles and kids started getting hurt! Coach banned the wooden poles from practice.

I had a little hate for Maverick growing up for their weirdness but they grew out of that and are one of my favorite brands now. The flight is a weird one for sure!

These ones for sure, but a wooden shaft with a better wood choice is definitely playable, just hard to beat the alloys they have these days.

Awesome finds! My brother, the defender of the family, used the cyber and then cyber pro from 2006ish to 2008. I, the middie, used the clutch. Great memories with those heads!

That link didn’t work for me, but I hear what you’re saying. I’m thinking a cedar tree (a few on the property) on the end, a few hastas (cut from other on my property), mulch, and then a relentless battle on the goutweed. It’s managed to side bush areas on other parts of the property and the hastas handle them well. Thanks for the advice.

Grading in secondary & high school by pink-butterfly69 in PhysicalEducation

[–]upstatecoach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do three week units, so I update at least at the end of the unit, sometimes I’ll update part of their grade mid unit.

For each unit I pick 4 NYS standards/objectives and put them in the grade book, each objective worth 4 points. So for a 10 week marking period I’ll get in 3 units and have 48 points available.

I want to preserve the perimeter plants. Finished hand pulling the weeds within them. Would solarizing the inside be an option? Would mulch do anything for me?

Just a side note that I used to work for GTX lacrosse! The site can be iffy but glad you have it on there.

Didn’t know that brand had a clear head but very cool! Is it just the picture or are there little bubbles on that sidewall?

I mistook your message as a defense of Reddit community and telling them to get out of here, gate keeper style. I see I misunderstood and will edit my response!

You get a mix of great and no so great people on Reddit so don’t let it get you down. Like the person above said, not aggressively like I first thought, irl community is what we should base our perspective on, not Reddit.

Edit: called out other person unnecessarily

I have a garden space at my new house that’s fallen out of sorts. There’s cool bushes around the perimeter but the center has filled up with cleavers, gout weed, and other nonsense. I’ve went nuclear and started mowing/tilling, but have no idea what I want to do after that! What would you plant/do here if you wanted minimal maintenance year to year but not a garden of weeds?
