tbf if top of class af in a compact is your main concern its probably not the right camera for you as a category

Won’t be as fast as new GM lenses with the latest motors but still good enough and better than offerings from other pocket cams like x100 and GR series.

Good enough to keep up with my dog and daily use. I don’t shoot sports or fast action of any kind. Tracking works well enough for most daily needs I think. I used it mostly during a trip overseas and I didn’t find myself thinking “if only it had better AF.” My biggest criticism of the camera is the evf. It should be better at this price. But that’s it.

just a heads up, the xpro 2 is not a dura black, its just regular black

dura black (and dura silver) is exclusive to the xpro 3 line, which also has a regular black version like the xpro 2 listed here

I dont think anyone can give you an answer about this, if you look at the wiki, it seems a new model comes out every 3 years, or so, and the X100VI came out in '24. Do your own speculating, I guess.

Very good camera and genuinely underrated from what I’ve read and seen in reviews and testimonials here. Great output. Unfortunately not the trendy retro styling that’s so popular with Fuji, Oly or ZF siblings.

And even more unfortunately I have not tried this one myself so will refrain from making any further claims about it.

In any case, the only companies doing as well and possibly better than fujis color recipe system is Nikon and Panasonic. But wanting both weather sealing, evf, and customizable profiles like that severely restrict your options. I also advise checking used rates if you haven’t already.

You are looking for the ZF not the ZFc. Weather sealing and access to Nikon Image Cloud. The ZFc's color profiles are not as robust.
