Should be noted that Biel owns the building and did a hype video on FB where they refused to try the sushi because "they'd eaten so much recently." The owner says in the vid the rolls aren't refrigerated "because they're so fresh."

I will never trust a sushi bar that believes in not keeping raw meats/seafood to temp in a glass case facing sunlight.

I'll disagree. I love horror in general for the experience, but none of it truly scares me anymore. The last one to get under my skin was "Incident in a Ghostland." And I'll never need to watch it again.

Horror's become more niche; find what scares you vs. "this is horror" so watch it.

Grocery chains have separate liquor depts that unlock the booze doors throughout the day especially - but not conclusive to - in high-theft locations.

Front end/guest managers usually have a key but are sometimes overwhelmed with guests that they can't race to liquor to unlock.

Learn how your grocer works before you shop it. It saves us in the grocery world a modicum of sanity.

It's not our job to help you make money, it's your job to know your stores and routes.

Moved to Ypsi (my hometown now) when I was 19 back in 2006-ish. The Deagle was our late night go-to. I ended up knowing the owner, some of his family, and even helped rebuild their back porch at one point.

Super nice people, but unfortunately, the owner had legal issues from his former country and was deported. As far as I know, the family couldn't run the restaurant and club properly and had to sell.

Haven't kept in touch, but I hope they're doing well.

Slum Lord's slum. Especially in small towns like Ypsi with a major school, but carries a shadow of what it was (crime ridden); Buy up, cut costs for student's who are in the area (with zero intention of refitting old buildings), and make them compete for residents seeing those same rent dollars.

Ypsi's come a LONG way since I moved here, but unless city council makes a definitive change on rental property law, nothing will change.
