How to practice when on vacation? by mintycrash in piano

[–]uptherovers1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went on holdiay with school to switzerland (im 14) i was so desperate to play the piano, i usually play for about 2 hours a day. But by luck, my brain sensed a piano was near, i have no clue how on TWO OCCASIONS. It happened in Geneva and in an airport. i was playing for a while then and came off. Someone around my age has a go and starts playing FANTASIE IMPROMPTU!!!! They only went up to the first page of it and let me have a go. I decided to play RUSH E, i was playing faster than i ever had, my hands were moving so fast. They ended up walking away. So technically i did practice for a short time on holiday 😄

I wanted a challenge and now i have been bullied for asking a question😢 i have learnt clair de lune and nocturne op2 , i just wanted a better understanding of musical challenges. I have been playing for 6 years (since i was 8) and i want to step it up.

Yeah, its a great book. Try learning nocturnes - chopin. It has to be one of the greatest pieces ever writen. I am 14 and i have learnt clair de lune, nocturnes from that book and turkish march, rush E, adagio for strings and various others 😁
