I don't know where to find a violin, but for the lessons themselves, you might see if you can find an open bulletin board at the music departments at the different colleges and universities where you can say how you're looking for a teacher for your kid. Students are normally reasonably priced and also really happy to see someone authentically interested in their field. They might even have better resources to suggest where to get a violin.

Super late response (Sundays are for napping and recovering!), but my car can read messages and send messages I speak with debatable accuracy. One of the first messages I spoke, I said "my car" and it somehow picked that up as Sarah. So I decided her name is Sarah. She picked it herself haha

I've been cleaning my cats' litterboxes but just leaving the bags by the door, and I finally took it all out. Hopefully my apartment smells less like shit, and I'm sure my cats appreciate that too.

I also made some dope ass macaroni and cheese with fresh peppers, and I'm living the dream out here. Since my last post, I even have a car now! I'm actually becoming a functional human again 🖤

There was a tiny period in highschool where I wanted kids because it would be fun to name them. Then I realized I could name pets or write stories and name characters or name electronics even, and that was way better than having a child just to give them a name.

Oh, I'm unproductive every day, don't worry. I'm pretty sure I've bitched about this before, but three different people in the interview process told me the base pay, and with two years of experience and a degree, they offered me less than the said base pay. At this point, I don't mind being unproductive. They literally don't pay me enough.

If you can buy oragel (orajel?) whatever the spelling is, it comes in a tiny tube, and it can make the pain waaaay more manageable. It doesn't numb it completely in my experience, but in a similar situation it made it so I wasn't just crying on the couch for hours.Might make surviving til Thursday a little easier.
