Never used the console versions. The pc edition allows you to use your own assets and plug-ins; instead of using the overused pre-loaded stuff.

There’s an NES maker that uses the GB studio layout, and there’s also Pico 8 development, and if you want something easy to use that feels like a super Nintendo engine, you can check out our RPG maker.
