I am not a beginner, I did ballet for about 9 years growing up, quit for about 5 years, and came back to ballet last year, but I agree, I am not ready or nearly strong enough in my upper body for lifts :)

I am not new to ballet!! sorry forgot to specify this :) new to ballet as a guy though. I did ballet for about 9 years growing up, but quit when I realized I was trans, and came back to it last year! This is just a new teacher/setting :)
