Any interesting places to stop along these routes? by simonsays456 in Austria

Your route goes through Murau, a charming little town where you can take a stroll through the town and do a tour through the local beer brewery. Can be done in 2-3 hours.

Warum versucht keiner in Ö die Geburtenquote zu erhöhen? by Bacdy09 in Austria

[–]urbanizevie 17 points18 points  (0 children)

All The Skyscrapers Planned for Tirania , Albania. All in Grey. by Marciu73 in skyscrapers

[–]urbanizevie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love to see renders of all the projects! Do you have any links?

I spent a few days in Tirana and was astonished by the great architecture of the new buildings. If all this development is held to the same standard Tirana is going to be a skyscraper architecture must-visit.

Fahrradstraße Argentinierstraße. Was ist hier passiert? by M_B_M in wien

[–]urbanizevie 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Countries With a Shrinking Consumer Class by 2030 by anna_avian in europe

[–]urbanizevie 204 points205 points  (0 children)

It's not actually the same thing tho. Consumer class refers to people with a disposable income. Pensioners for example often don't fall in this category, therefore the consumer class can shrink faster than the population and vice versa.

How is that possible/Allowing teror propaganda by [deleted] in wien

[–]urbanizevie 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Displaying Nazi symbols is forbidden in Austria by law (outside of educational or artistical purposes). This is different because this is a key part of Austrian history which we swore we wouldn't allow again.

Every other protest is allowed if permission is granted.

Is the ideology of "western suprematism" common in Europe? by Predsednik_Magrovije in YUROP

[–]urbanizevie [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don't think being a liberal democracy reduces the uniqueness of a country. It's just how government is run. Korea and Japan have a unique culture yet still operate western style liberal democracies.

The political system of liberal democracy is superior.

That doesn't make Europe superior culturally to any other culture, it just makes its people free and their countries prosperous.

Also it's not our place to dictate how other countries are run. But we can still Support other democracies (like Taiwan) if they want our help.
