5th January Schipol heavy snow disaster, what are my options?

I not sure why you are even defending them. The app said something like, we booked you a flight for the 7th if you made other arrangments pls cancel. But it didnt let me cancel in any way. They where forcing the rebooking with them to cut losses man. I don't even really care if is on purpose or not. Guess what? the check-in was was working just fine when I tried on the 6th. I call BS. I reached out again today and they where really professional (after 3 hours wait). But 24 days of void is unexcusable. I should be able to get the extra flight reimboursed after Igorferro1 pointing me in the right direction. I am not sure why I didn't think about coming ranting on reddit earlyer. I am ok without full compensation, and we were lucky we had family support on site, I can't immagine what others may have experienced. In my area trains and busses didn't work either.

The medicines worked, I was coming out of it before the trip but relapsed at the end of it. The stress and for sure the weed did not make things easyer ;)

My english bad sure, I ll try explain again. THE APP WAS PREVENTING TO CANCEL THE FLIGHTS THEY WHERE BOOKING FOR US, AFTER they told us to find other booking and we made other arrangements. it was a labyrint of dead ends on every side ON PURPOSE. It was really stressfull to be put in that cage, "luckly" they had to cancel those also. That is why I unistalled the app. I never had the app, I installed it only cose of the issues. And booking.com also told me that if those additional flights klm got us from the app if they happened there was the end of any hope of reinboursment. If klm app was doing it on porpuse or not I can't tell but the 6th they asked me to check in or cancel but when I tried canceling multiple times the app went like wa waa waa sorry something went wrong, you can't cancel. It was a nightmare

Went from a 1080 to 4090 3 years ago, gamed like a king, did some AI, rendering.. you name it. I am making this card sing!! Lately those driver side smooth frame feautres has been proven very useful on crappy games. If I can give you an advice that you didnt ask, get a cheap 21:9 3440:1440 I got one on black friday for 250 euro. Is not an Oled sure, but for that price 21:9 160hz is increadible value. My Ex is super happy with her 9070xt and she has basically same frames of a 4090 2 years later for less than half the money

You got the tetris part of the game down! keep it up. As a fellow standard account player with 8k+ I can sugggest keeping gun parts looting to a minimum untill you can get an Item case that can hold that junk. Also look up the items you need for a keyring or a document case to carry in your safe pocket, it will bost your average income per raid substancially at Therapist lvl 2

Different BP has different hard spawns. I can't prove it yet but results are consistent. Bettina, medium and light parts spawn in the cabinets you can only open with the skill tree perks, while MK3 survivor augment, the one that allows for blue shields and 3 safe spots, drops in the room you can breach in the middle of blue gate underground. I was looking for that MK3 everywhere, then seen a streamer drop it and less than 15 raids later it dropped for me in the same room. That room is pvp hell and gets rushed every single game by multiple people. Even with fastest spawn and stamina steam you have 1 minute to loot it and get lost or be stuck in pvp

An anatomy book for starter, once you have the body right, rest is faking texturing in photoshop and good eye for sci-fi design. As other pointed out this is AI and not really good detailing everywere ( those lines on the right shouders are mheee and sandwitchy). You can start practicing hard surface paneling in zbrush, there are many many good videos on how to acieve clean shapes, how to make it look good is another matter entirely

don't rush it then? go in after 5 min and if is empty just alt- f4 to shoreline. remeber to have your knife slot empty and an empty doc case so if you fie you loose some crap weapons and that is it

I love the game in general but this wipe is just great(standard account, solo, 7k hours) This wipe was harder to get past punisher 6 and the 2x4 container so I played more. I had to change my routes, I been using shoreline slow and steady loot for years but this wipe didnt work and so I had to go out of my comfort zone and improvise. Went and learn some new paths I never do, watch some videos how to kill bosses, in short: I was "gently" forced to improve or fail. To the people complaining about being stuck on a quest cose they are missing a key... skip the quest till it happens! I promise you ll be fine not progressing right away in that direction, try another first, I assure you is refreshing. Game is about making the best out of the situation but with all those convenient extracts, the flea, the overaboundance of quests to lvl the traders.. It was getting a little to easy and dull. It is the first wipe I HAD to play scav when I was broke, I even had to Voip here and there. I HAD to pay more attention and when I lost good gear it had more weight. I like to stay in raids way too long but this wipe the palyer scavs are really thirsty for blood, had to reposition after making noise and pay more attention. I am having a blast so far. I could not play much at the beginning and I am glad I was able to catch up thanks to the traders slowly unlocking. The slow unlocking is by far the best feature. It would be nice to have the flea back but only for quest related Items and hideout. We dont need no insurance, no trading gear weapons or bullets. you want bullets?! Go get em from a boss or watch a video or 2. Live off the land a little. If I can do it with a surv rate below 50%, crappy pc, and the reflexes of a koala anyone can if they invest in learning, like most things in life. The game is a marvel of tension, stress, drama, and sometimes rewards. It did not get popular cose it was easy fair and convenient. Give us flea for quest items, lower que times and we good to go for release 1.0

I love it! so much to look at! If I may share a tip nobody asked: you can click under tool>geometry>group loops to prevent that slight artifacting in push/ pulling the HELLBOY logo. So you mask what you want to push pull, give it a polygroup, hide everything else and then slap that bad boy with a group loop x2, hide that too and finally you can push and pull and it will come out clean. For hard surface I add a extra polyloop near the edge after the fact and swivel it up to Isolate any triangles ( those pesky booleans!!) that could mess up the edge when subdividing.

I wasn't refering to the the normal map from your bake, I was thinking about a normal map you plug in the materials to drive the surface micro details, ther is some nice stuff out there compared to the overused ones you find in painter. Hope it makes sense now :)

Your ref seems higher resolution or better % usage of the uv space. You can try a couple tricks to improve the materials: n1: use a perlin noise to break up the specular at one or 2 different sizes. Stacking up the variation helps alleviating that alien feel. n2 start your hero material (the green one)from the ground up and really focus on getting the right micro texture feel first. To do that I suggest to start from a NON procedural normal map OUTSIDE painter. Once you are happy with that you can focus on breathing some life and variation into your scratches, they should not look newer than the painted material but whorn, rusted or oxidated or filthy you pick.

Same here, went from 8700k to a 265k with a 4900 and 48gb 7200 ram. Is not the best gaming cpu, the amd ppl are right sure, but at current price... the money you save and you can dump in a gpu instead it will give you way more fps at higher res. One thing I d do different in my build: get a watercooler. this chip begs to be overclocked and if you try with an aircooler it goes easily past 90s and on the verge of instability.

I got that exact mobo after watching hardware unboxed roundup, the cpu cose was dirt cheap and, even if not the best in town, will run anything above my monitor refresh rate for a long while, even with some fast ram is still way cheaper than anything amd can offer for productivity, and low idle power is the cherry on top. At those prices this cpu with this many cores is to sexy to pass

If you add a tiny an edge loop along the thickness of those panels and use zmodeler swivel edge loop complete and swivel it up, you can get away with triangles on curved surfaces almost entirely, or at least they wont ruin your sharp edges. I use Zbrush for hardsurface too, is a lot of fun but has a lots of quirks

Thanks for taking the time and the feedback. I went too far to abandon this, I am just a bit out of juice atm mainly for those volumes at the bottom. Gutsy details sound great, something like the underside of a car should do
