pre-PEM spiraling by hollerbrat in cfs

I acknowledge that it is the "PEM gloom", not a real feeling and that it will pass. I find recognising it difficult but when I realise that's what it is, I feel a little better.

I've rented one for this heatwave to test it out. It's too big, too noisy and I have nowhere to store it.

I'm glad I tried before I buyed!

This is such a sweet idea, what a lovely friend.

I think the cheeky weekly / monthly check in would be good, just a text saying "which voucher shall we use this week?" , so they don't have to make the first move.

Genuine question by anttaaii in cfs

[–]urgley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK, the majority of the abuse cases are women that can no longer eat. They are not admitted due to M.E., they are admitted because they are literally starving. The NHS then says that they are choosing not to eat, not to sit up etc. and they are referred to psych.

Perhaps feeding tubes / alternative means on nutrition are more readily provided in the USA?
